To help you to understand what our Group of Diabetes UK is about, please read the info below:

The St Helens & District Group of Diabetes UK has been running for over 30 years. In that time we have been able to help many people with diabetes.

We have 8 monthly meetings a year, which are held in St Helens United Reformed Church on King St., on the 1st Wed of the month at 7.30pm to 9pm.

We have many Diabetes Specialists that come along and talk at our meetings, and answer questions on different aspects of living with diabetes.

We normally have between 18 and 35 people with an interest in diabetes who come along to our meetings.

The meetings are open to anyone with an interest in diabetes, they are free to attend and refreshments are available afterwards. We also have a wide selection of information on diabetes available.

Many people who have been recently diagnosed with diabetes find our meetings especially helpful. It is always useful having the opportunity to chat to other people in the same situation as yourself!
